What syntax is

syntax is a writing keyboard for iPhone. It types and reads your text aloud on-device, works fully offline, and never logs a keystroke. With Full Access on, it can generate an image from an @image"..." prompt, insert a contact with @contact, and keep a clipboard history that never leaves your device.

Before you generate

The prompt composer gives you three choices that shape the result before anything is sent: the model, the aspect (the shape of the image), and the length (where the model supports it). Pick those, review the prompt, and confirm. The content filter runs before anything leaves your device; if the prompt cannot be made, you will see "that prompt can't be generated."

Signing in with your email is optional and only raises your generation limits above the anonymous default. Nothing is sold in the app.

Get help

Email support@yoursyntax.app. Include your app version, your iOS version, and the steps that reproduce the problem. Do not send passwords, API keys, or secrets — syntax has no password; sign-in uses an emailed one-time code.

Common fixes

• The keyboard does not appear — open Settings, then General, then Keyboard, then Keyboards, and make sure syntax is added.
• Generation, clipboard, or @contact is unavailable — these three need Full Access. In Settings, then General, then Keyboard, then Keyboards, tap syntax and turn on Allow Full Access.
• A prompt was blocked — reword it to remove the disallowed request and try again.
• Delete your account — in the syntax app, open Settings, then Delete account, or email us and we will do it.
